Went on a cool spring day. Restaurant was uncomfortably hot due to no blinds and an entire glass front. Food was properly cooked. Place was clean. Service was good.

Worst Dixie Lee I ever ate. And I like Dixie Lee fried chicken. But this one is the worst Dixie Lee I ever had. And the service really sucks there at this Dixe Lee. It seemed like all the staff were upset about being st work !Not a good experience at this Dixie Lee ... worst Dixie Lee ever for me.

My husband, 4 year old and I went here on November 11th. I get a lot of places were closed today and if places were open, workers more than likely didn’t want to work, I get it.... But honestly, don’t treat paying customers like trash. Our order came to $40 that we could have spent else where; but where we have never ate here before, we wanted to give it a try. When I asked if they sold a certain meal, I was told sharply “chicken and fish only”; I’m sorry that my 4 year old asked for a cheeseburger. When our order was up, the number 9 was called out sharply, I wasn’t told to enjoy my meal, if I needed anything, nothing; in fact the worker turned and walked away out back. Thank you for making our first experience a negative one and thank you for treating us so rudely! We will not advise people to come here nor will we ever be back to be treated so poorly. Keep in mind, I just paid your wage, so thanks a lot!

Second time I've been there! It was yummy. Chicken isn't greasy, it's well seasoned, hot and juicy. Cole slaw is the best.

Great service

The service was excellent. Great staff. The chicken was not fresh. Tasted like it was sitting there way past a appropriate time. Which is very unusual for this place. As it was the first of many visits that I was very disappointed.

Service was ok and the food was hot. Had to ask for extra napkins as they were kept behind the counter. When you're eating fried chicken, most people want more than one napkin. The tables could have been cleaner so I gave it a 4 star.

Better than KFC... Greasy chicken like KFC, but it tastes better, and they use better quality oil for cooking which comes out in the flavor, and the fact that you can't feel your arteries actively clogging while enjoying your food

Just bought a 3 piece meal but only got a 1 piece meal !!!!

I'm usually very happy but tonight I waited 20 mins and no one told me why. Someone came in after me and got a big order before me and some 9f my food was missing. Like I said usually very good but tonight was an exception

Best chicken in the north side. Friendly staff and the owners are great. FYI, North side KFC under new management have been known for cutting their chicken pieces in half in their buckets and calling it 2 pieces

Had the 3 piece fish dinner, can with a bun fries coleslaw. Was very filling and well made.

This is a home of fried chicken and a bunch of seafood. Options are great with onsite generous parking. The portion is definitely fill you up.Once it locates on riverside, the view is great in the evening.

Like having fish & chips at your grandmother's house (like most Dixie Lee's). Huge portions, great service and facilities. The whole clam dinner was fantastic!

They usually have really good chicken and popcorn chicken. Tonight I decided to try their chicken burger... Big mistake. It wasn't cooked. Had to throw it out... Waste of money.

The fries were old n hard wasn't to pleased n we usually get 2 dinners but wasn't worth the price this time, almost like it was refried 🙁

Got the econo dinner. So many French fries and loved that they allowed me to substitute the roll & the coleslaw for an extra gravy and the potato salad for no extra charge! Great service, in and out in under 7 minutes!!

My boyfriend goes here almost every Friday, for Poutine Friday. I also love their poutine, it's very salty but very tasty if you want to treat yourself. I wanted to try the clams, so had those. They tasted fine and we're good, just not the types of clams I was expecting. They seem just like frozen small clam bits, rather than strips. I'm also used to NS fresh seafood, so my opinion might be a bit harsher! Though, I still give a 4 star and will be returning!
